The Project
We've finally completed production on issue #1. We were able to finance the 32-page comic ourselves and, when we're not dealing with bouts of insecurity (fucking artists), we think we delivered something solid and different.
We're giving away the first issue because we hope to convince you to help us keep the dream alive. We'll try to drum up interest on social media and then see if there's enough support to start a crowdfunding campaign to finance issue #2. Our ultimate goal is to do 4 issues and then publish a graphic novel.
Your Role
Building a solid email list is a primordial aspect of any successful crowdfunding campaign. It lets you know how much interest there is in your project. That's why it's so important to subscribe to our newsletter if what we're doing interests you enough to make a pledge when our crowdfunding campaign gets going.
Sharing our social media posts and talking about our project is also a very important aspect. Please don't hesitate to write us in the contact form. Feedback and ideas are welcome.
Crowdfunding with Kickstarter
We've done lots of research and we'll use Kickstarter if we try our hand at crowdfunding. John has many great ideas for goodies, like a black & white version of the comic, awesome figurines, etc. Give us a chance and we'll come up with a cool campaign and, more importantly, a cool graphic novel.
